Home / Technology / Trust and data

A product that tracks families has to be trustworthy before it is clever.

Location, driving data and insurance documents in one place is a serious responsibility. The design decisions below are not compliance overhead — they are the reason partners are willing to put their brand on it.

  • Consent, in the open

Consent sits in top-level navigation, not buried in settings. Permissions are asked individually and in context — never as a wall at first launch. Every consent is recorded, reviewable and withdrawable, and withdrawal does not remove the safety features the household relies on.

  • Anti-stalking controls

A family location product can be misused, and treating that as a footnote is unacceptable. Consent is symmetrical and visible: every member can see who can see them. Covert monitoring is not supported. Additional protections govern minors and members added by someone else, and these controls are non-negotiable in every deployment, including white-label.

  • Emergency flows carry no commercial content

No offers, no upsell, no data capture for marketing during an emergency or an open assistance case. Commercial follow-up is permitted only after case closure and a service rating.

  • Data ownership

Partner rights in household data and in the derived driver score are set out contractually: use, retention, residency, portability and what happens at termination. Nobody should discover their data position when they try to leave.

  • Explainability

Every AI conclusion traces to a source clause. Extraction confidence is held separately from interpretation confidence. Low interpretation confidence routes to human review before it can influence a recommendation.

Regulatory posture

Insurance distribution, data protection and behavioural pricing rules differ materially across the markets Amanati operates in. The platform is configured per market rather than deployed uniformly and hoped for.

Market-by-market statements pending legal review. Morocco, EU and African market positions are with counsel and will be published as cleared, not before.

The advice boundary. Where the concierge sits relative to regulated advice is the single most important compliance question in the product. The position is set out on the concierge page and is also pending final sign-off.

White-label and federation

Partners run the platform under their own brand, configured to their market, panel, assistance network, languages and pricing.

Configurable: brand, content, panel, pricing, assistance network, languages, feature set, consent copy.

Shared: the engine, the models, the security posture, and the anti-stalking and emergency-flow rules.

Positioned as complementary to a partner’s existing tooling rather than a replacement for it.

The due diligence pack.

Security posture, data flows, sub-processors, business continuity, financial standing, insurance and exit provisions.
